Vegan Gourmet Breakfast Pocket
INGREDIENTS
El Burrito Soyrizo or SoyYum Chorizo
Plant based egg(Just Egg)
Follow Your Heart cheddar shreds
Hash brown patties Puff pastry(We Walka )
Optional: for a wash use a mix of plant based milk and maple syrup.
DIRECTIONS
Cook soyrizo, plant-based egg and hash browns according to package instructions.
I made enough for 4 pastries.
Unroll the pastry, take a pizza cutter and cut dough into 4 pieces.
On one side of the pastry, start stacking the hash brown, cheese, egg, cheese, soyrizo, and yes… cheese
Take the unstacked side of the dough and pull over the stack until all sides of the dough touch.
Pinch the ends of the dough together, then use a fork to crimp along the 3 edges.
Wash with milk/maple (optional).
Cut vents at the top of the pastry.
Cook for the amount of time the pastry package suggests.
I did mine on convection and baked at 400 degrees for 20 minutes.
Unless you enjoy 3rd degree burns let these sit for a minimum of 10 minutes!
